Lead the charge in building world-class data infrastructure. We're hiring a seasoned Telecommunications Superintendent to oversee large-scale cabling and fiber installations at one of the most advanced data centers in the country. If you're a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for managing high-performing teams, this is your next big opportunity.

What You'll Be Leading:

  • Supervise daily field operations for structured cabling, fiber optics, and voice/data installations
  • Manage job site logistics: material deliveries, equipment usage, labor allocation
  • Lead a team of 40-50 technicians on enterprise-scale projects
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, contractors, and inspectors
  • Enforce safety protocols (OSHA standards), company policies, and job site rules
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA)
  • Collaborate with project managers to track progress and forecast needs

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in telecom field operations
  • 2+ years working with high-count fiber (144+ pairs), splice trays, and OTDR testing
  • Strong understanding of fiber matrices and blueprint reading
  • Proven ability to lead large teams in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Schedule:

  • Monday-Saturday, 6am-4pm
  • Flexibility for extended hours as needed

Location:

Richmond, VA - On-site at a major tech client's data center. Must be comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and active construction zones.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00/hr.
