Location: Fully Remote (US-based)
Contract Length: 8 Months
Pay Range: $71-$81/hour (W2, depending on experience)
Partnering via: Russell Tobin & Associates

We are partnering with a leading global e-commerce and logistics innovator a household name in online retail to support their search for a Structural Design Manager. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic design and engineering of high-volume operations facilities across North America.

What You ll Do

As a Structural Design Manager, you ll be at the forefront of the design, implementation, and standardization of building structures for a highly dynamic logistics network. Reporting to the Sr. Structural Design Manager, you'll shape structural engineering standards and drive technical strategy on projects that span from coast to coast.

  • Manage multiple complex structural design projects simultaneously

  • Develop and maintain structural design standards and strategy

  • Serve as SME for all things Structural Engineering & Materials

  • Collaborate with internal and third-party stakeholders to implement best-in-class designs

  • Drive solutions that reduce both cost and embodied carbon in construction

  • Present technical updates to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders

  • Create and maintain documentation, specs, and scalable design templates

  • Participate in business process re-engineering across design & build functions

What We re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Structural Engineering

  • 5-10+ years of experience in building design & construction

  • Deep knowledge of structural materials, methods, and design optimization

  • Strong command of seismic, wind, and load design across building types

  • Exceptional communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience working with architects, MEP engineers, and sustainability teams

  • Skilled in managing projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with embodied carbon reduction strategies

  • Familiarity with global distribution/logistics networks or operational facility design
