Our space systems team is looking for a systems engineer to lead design, implementation, integration, and test of our hardware in the loop simulation tools. This team member will support multiple programs and be responsible for HWIL simulation tools in our Englewood, CO facilities.

Our space systems team is looking for a systems engineer to lead design, implementation, integration, and test of our hardware in the loop simulation tools. This team member will support multiple programs and be responsible for HWIL simulation tools in our Englewood, CO facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and lead the development of next-generation simulation capabilities, including software and hardware simulations, to support diverse mission requirements.
- Drive the design and architecture of simulation upgrades, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of space and mission systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to implement cutting-edge simulation solutions.
- Lead the planning and execution of simulation verification and validation activities to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Drive new business opportunities by optimizing existing simulation capabilities to reduce non-recurring costs and enhance value for future programs.
- Support program design and readiness reviews.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; twelve or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, ten or more years of experience with a masters degree, or seven or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective leadership interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
- Prior space domain experience which may include space vehicles or satellite ground systems, is desired.
- Familiarity with the following tools is desired: Cameo or Magic Draw, DOORS, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence).
- Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
