Systems Engineer

Sabine Solutions is seeking to fill the position of Software Systems Engineer for our customers. Sabine Solutions is a small business dedicated to our customers. Our teams support DoD and Commercial efforts with tailored solutions to meet immediate requirements. Our Employees are our most critical resource to deliver those solutions. We support Prototype or Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) and enterprise architectures while embracing the challenges. We design, integrate, and field scalable, flexible systems that evolve as requirements and capability grow in an Agile development and integration environment. These environments are increasingly hosted within a secure cloud on-premises and connected to AWS or Azure and are supported by our diverse, distributed workforce.

Our systems include multiple sensors, diverse data sets, fused and stand-alone data exploitation, and enterprise connectivity. Our typical system requirements include large diverse data sets, multiple users, and various distributed computing, cloud, and middleware services.

• Position: Systems Engineer
• Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
• Position Type: Full-time
• Clearance: TS/SCI or above

Core Requirements:

• Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and ability to pass CI poly.
• Willing to work 4-5 days a week at Aberdeen Proving Grounds
• BS or equivalent additional experience
• Fingers to keyboard technical capability

Duties:

• Integrate and manage data exploitation services that process a wide range of data sources, plan, implement, and monitor networks and cross-domain systems; and install, integrate, and configure target applications.
• The position will require a mixture of virtual and actual hands-on configuration of systems and applications.
• Travel may be required for this position within the US for test and demonstration activities.
• The customer is based in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with RMF process, Nessus / acas
• Experience with Platform engineering (IE: DevSecOps)
• Experience with System automation via tools like puppet Ansible or chef
• Experience with virtual machine implementations that include VMWare, KVM
• Software integration experience in Linux, Windows, or other custom environments
• Installation and maintenance experience with a variety of 3rd party software
• Working knowledge of software development environments and methodologies
• Familiarity with JavaScript, PERL, XML, or other scripting languages
• Networking skills that include WAN's, LAN's, routers and switches
• Requirements documentation and system analysis experience
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI or above
