Piper Companies is seeking an IT Manager to join a leader in the pharmaceutical space for an onsite position in Clayton, NC. The IT Manager will manage and support IT systems lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, driving project deliverables, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain secure and efficient operations.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager include:
- Oversee full lifecycle management of IT systems, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain system documentation, including validation reports, configuration baselines, and operational manuals, in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct system reviews, testing (FAT, SAT, UAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, GEP), and risk assessments
- Serve as an escalation point for system support, including troubleshooting, access management, and coordination with internal and external teams
- Lead and contribute to projects by driving deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing timelines
- Support software management and validation activities for standalone applications
Qualifications for the IT Manager include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 2+ years of experience in IT validation
- Strong IT background, with at least 2 years of IT or QC administrative experience preferred
- Proven ability to work with quality control (QC) software and adapt to new technologies
Compensation for the IT Manager:
- Salary Range: $40/hr - $45/hr
