Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Architect to lead data conversion and migration efforts for our Salesforce platform. This role will be primarily responsible for extracting, transforming, and preparing data from Oracle SQL databases for uploading into Salesforce, ensuring data quality, integrity, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is proficient in data modeling, scripting, and migration best practices, and thrives in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data migration strategies from Oracle SQL databases to Salesforce.
  • Write complex SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Use Salesforce Data Loader and other ETL tools to upload large datasets efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Ensure all data migrations follow Salesforce best practices and maintain referential integrity.
  • Document all processes, conversion rules, and post-load validation strategies.
  • Identify and resolve data issues and inconsistencies during test loads and production migration.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data migration, or ETL development.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and complex scripting for data transformation.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce data models, object relationships, and best practices for large data loads.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce Data Loader or similar tools for bulk data upload.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with large or complex datasets.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud implementations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, Gearset, or other deployment/data tools.
  • Experience working with data from multiple sources and integrating into Salesforce.
  • Background in data governance or data quality frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
