Job Title: Senior React Developer
Location: Hybrid to Dearborn, MI (Depending upon the project Needs)
Employment Type: Long term (Contract to start with Potential FTE Conversion)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior React Developer to serve as a tech anchor on our front-end team.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only highly skilled in React.js but is also a proactive systems thinker capable of delivering scalable, dynamic user interfaces in a fast-paced product development environment.
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of modern front-end solutions using React, contribute to architecture decisions, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers. You'll also help drive quality via test automation and integration into a CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, dynamic UIs using React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Lead the creation of reusable components, hooks, and front-end libraries to drive UI consistency and scalability.
- Utilize React concepts such as props, state, hooks, fragments, and component composition.
- Build and maintain dynamic, server-rendered React frameworks (e.g., Next.js) to deliver performant and SEO-friendly web applications.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools such as Jest and Playwright to ensure robustness and high test coverage.
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests and checks into the CI/CD pipeline, including test coverage validation, code linting, and security compliance.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Promote engineering best practices, including modular architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Drive architectural decisions and influence the technical direction of the front-end team.
- Bring a systems thinking mindset-proactively identifying potential improvements across the tech stack.
- Optionally leverage Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or other cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience with a strong focus on React.js.
- Deep understanding of React concepts (components, hooks, props, states, fragments).
- Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks for building dynamic React applications.
- Hands-on experience with Jest, Playwright, or similar testing frameworks (unit, integration, and E2E testing).
- Solid understanding of integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline.
- Strong expertise in code reusability, modular development, and component-driven architecture.
- Ability to think holistically about system design, performance, and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with (Google Cloud Platform) or similar cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with security compliance practices in front-end applications.
- Experience with accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n).
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cloud Run for serverless application deployment.
- Familiarity with BigQuery for data analytics or reporting integration.
- Exposure to Python for scripting, tooling, or backend service integration.
- Broader experience in CI/CD setup, including pipeline creation, deployment automation, and monitoring tools.
