<>Job Summary</>

We are looking for an experienced Confluent Kafka Consulting Engineer/Architect to design and lead scalable, distributed event-streaming solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Kafka, strong cloud knowledge, and the ability to drive architecture decisions while mentoring teams.

<>Key Responsibilities</>

  • Design and architect large-scale Kafka / Confluent event-streaming platforms

  • Lead customer engagements and provide architectural guidance

  • Assess, optimize, and implement Kafka environments following best practices

  • Apply event-driven architecture, data-in-motion, and data mesh concepts

  • Ensure solutions align with well-architected framework principles

  • Act as an SME and mentor junior engineers and architects

<>Required Skills</>

  • Confluent Kafka / Apache Kafka (Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB)

  • Distributed Systems & Event-Driven Architecture

  • Cloud Platforms AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Stream Processing Apache Flink

  • Data Security & Integration

  • Strong technical leadership and client-facing communication skills

<>Preferred Experience</>

  • Kafka platform optimization and production support

  • Data Mesh and real-time streaming architectures

  • Professional services or consulting background
