What You'll Do
The Office 365 and Active Directory Administrator is responsible for the daily management and support of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory services, including user accounts, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD. This role involves user and group administration, security configuration, issue resolution, and collaboration with the Identity & Access Management team to support access reviews, audits, clean-up efforts, and integration projects. The administrator also provides Tier 3 support for Office 365 products, offering advanced troubleshooting, user education, and contributing to configuration and project design initiatives.

What You'll Do
The Office 365 and Active Directory Administrator is responsible for the daily management and support of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory services, including user accounts, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD. This role involves user and group administration, security configuration, issue resolution, and collaboration with the Identity & Access Management team to support access reviews, audits, clean-up efforts, and integration projects. The administrator also provides Tier 3 support for Office 365 products, offering advanced troubleshooting, user education, and contributing to configuration and project design initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support, maintenance, and daily tasks relating to the of Office 365 services, encompassing Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Purview, Teams.
- Perform Office 365 and Exchange Administration and Azure Active Directory Administration
- Troubleshoot multiple complex Exchange Online/On Premise/ Hybrid environments
- Research organization's technical problems while devising solutions and implementing plans for full resolution.
- Perform and assist Administrators with Office 365 Migrations, remediation, data moves, and license assignments.
- Provision Mailboxes with required license services using group licensing.
- Participate in change management (ITIL).
- Provide migration reporting to senior management.
- Assist in creating and maintaining client training documentation.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate in the design, implementation, and support of the IAM technologies.
- Participate in projects to ensure standard processes and procedures are implemented when rolling out new provisioning and role management points.
- Plan, build, test, manage, and update security for the protection of and access to Freeman Health System.
- Ensure all evidence of authorization is documented and archived according to internal standards.
- Provide training and support to end users on IAM tools and best practices for managing their access rights and credentials.
- Assist Identity and Access Management Analysts in troubleshooting issues with IAM tools and processes.
- Assist with application upgrades, evaluation of new technology, settings, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot security and workflow issues independently or in collaboration with other Information Systems teams and/or stakeholders, while adhering to internal service standards.
- Enforce organizational policies and procedures to ensure only authorized personnel have access to information in compliance with the Minimum Necessary Rules.
- Participate AND conduct ongoing auditing and risk assessments for user access governance and identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to strengthen IAM security controls
- Ensure dormant accounts/records are disabled; eliminate access for those who no longer need applicable information.
- Develop system access and security implementation plans derived from operational customer needs and requests.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation on standard operating procedures, system configurations, and technical settings for internal team use, end user support, and other IS teams as needed.
- Generate reports to perform in-depth analysis and data collection for issues associated with IAM.
- Assist in efficiency improvements by recommending process changes as well as developing solutions to automate and orchestrate repeatable tasks for IAM.
- Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to ensure ongoing operations and security for a facility that operates continuously to provide the best possible care to the patients we serve
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below)
- A total of 2 years relevant work experience and Software experience: Active Directory, Microsoft O365, Third Party Applications, Clinical Applications,
- Demonstrated success training and mentoring others on Active Directory and Identity and Access management tools
