Location: Austin, TX - HYBRID

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Department of Criminal Justice requires the services of 1 Project Manager 3.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice requires the services of a Project manager for the CAPPS Financials and Human Resources implementation project. This position will be dedicated to this project.
- The core duties include project oversight, planning, project tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the project team.
- Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
- Direct the activities of resources in line with the business objectives of the project.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines.
- Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team, using collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment.
- Must be able to work off-hours at different phases of the project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (minimum of four tools).

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Applicant must possess:
- Bachelor's degree
Preferably the applicant possess the following:
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Ability to manage project activities;
- to establish project goals and objectives;
- to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues;
- to identify project risks and gaps;
- manage multiple work streams; to communicate effectively.
This position may be filled as a remote or hybrid position but may occasionally require the contractor to work on-site.
