Job Role : P+ Support Analyst

Job Location : Seattle, WA
12 Months Contract

This position is in support of a Microsoft Project Online deployment in support of a large information technology department. This implementation supports all IT project management and related functions, from weekly timekeeping to annual planning cycles, quarterly financial reforecasts. Support runs anywhere from troubleshooting timesheet approvals to troubleshooting data representation in reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Support user access provisioning process. (Active directory integration and a custom C# application.
  • Monitoring and support of Alteryx workflows that feed data for enterprise reporting and support timesheet notifications.
  • Support for and configuration of Project Online (custom fields, lookup tables, views, projects ownership, permissions, etc.)
  • Support and monitoring of Fluent Pro s Datamart service in support of enterprise reporting.
  • Keeping resourcing rates accurate for multiple resource types using annual updates, custom applications and manual configuration.
  • Support of integrations with OnePlan and OneConnect.
  • Monitoring and support of custom data feed to enterprise instance of Broadcom s Clarity.
  • Technical and functional support of Microsoft Project Online (SaaS web application) and Microsoft Project Professional (desktop application).
  • Support of existing library of reports (Tableau, Power BI) and their dataflows
  • Configuration and support of time reporting and approval processes.
  • Coordinating with external software vendors for application management and support (Microsoft, OnePlan, FluentPro, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 7+ years supporting an enterprise installation of Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft Project Online
  • 7+ years in reporting technologies including Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL
  • Experience supporting enterprise project portfolio management with a heavy finance focus (cost centers, capital vs. operating expense, 5-5-4 fiscal periods and quarterly and annual funding processes
  • Prior experience supporting timekeeping and multiple user types (FTE vs. contractors)
  • Experience in coordinating support issues with software vendors as a corporate customer
  • 7+ years supporting internal customers at all levels
  • Comfortable collaborating/supporting/communicating (written and spoken) at all reporting levels

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
