QE Automation Engineer (Cypress, Robot Framework)

QE Automation Engineer | Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) | Contract or Fulltime

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Robot Framework for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define test strategies, identify test scenarios, and ensure full coverage of business requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
• Implement test data management, logging, and reporting mechanisms for better traceability and debugging.
• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts and enforce best practices for maintainability and performance.
• Contribute to the overall QE roadmap, continuously enhancing automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Investigate, document, and report defects using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and support shift-left testing initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor s degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in QA Automation with a focus on Cypress and Robot Framework.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScriptand Python
• Experience in API testing, web application testing, and cross-browser validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesand automation integration with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with version control tools(Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
