Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a DevOps Manager in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of talented DevOps engineers in delivery of high-quality software products for our on-premise, cloud hosted and cloud native products.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, supporting employee and first-level manager activities across digital software application development. Support team in hiring, mentorship, guidance and career development opportunities.
  • Provide software configuration management leadership and governance around software configuration (for example, versioning strategy, security scans, naming standards etc.).
  • Manage team to build, package and deliver software applications to deploy in Cloud infrastructure and customer infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • People Management experience
  • Strong Cloud background, specifically in Azure and Azure Managed Services
  • Software Release Management
  • Dev Ops: CI/CD pipelines
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Manage, monitor and resolve security vulnerabilities using tools like SonarQube
