Job Title: Java Developer with Python
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:
We're hiring an experienced Java/Python Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot) and Python development. You'll design and build high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust applications using Java 8+/11, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
  • Implement backend services and APIs with Python (Django/Flask)
  • Write optimized SQL/PL-SQL queries for relational databases
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Maven
  • Conduct unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, pytest)
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues
  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years professional experience in Java development
  • 3+ years hands-on Python programming
  • Strong expertise in Spring ecosystem (Boot, MVC, Data, Security)
  • Proficient in database design and SQL optimization
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
