Description:
Role Title: SharePoint Admin & Knowledge Management Specialist
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12 months contract
What You'll Do
- Lead SharePoint Administration: Manage site creation approvals, inventory, and governance across CTPO.
- Design Intelligent Workflows: Build and deploy custom forms and automations using Power Platform to optimize site functionality.
- Drive Enterprise Initiatives: Lead firmwide SharePoint projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Own Site Collections: Oversee classification, security, and records management across multiple SharePoint environments.
- Ensure Governance & Compliance: Conduct annual recertifications and maintain documentation for site ownership and metadata.
- Be the Go-To Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for SharePoint-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Support Cloud Migration: Facilitate the transition to SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
- Manage Asset Migrations: Scope and execute large-scale content transfers from legacy systems (local drives, desktops, shared folders).
- Execute BAU Knowledge Ops: Maintain content repositories and knowledge strategies to support daily operations.
- Leverage ServiceNow: Author and manage knowledge articles, collaborating with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Control Access & Permissions: Administer user roles across SharePoint, ServiceNow, and other knowledge platforms.
- Report & Communicate: Prepare dashboards and business review reports to inform leadership and drive decisions.
- Navigate Complexity: Balance competing priorities and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in SharePoint design and administration, including legacy workflows and forms.
- Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in structured content management and taxonomy.
- Passion for continuous improvement and systems optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows and knowledge article lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD, cloud-native development, and application security.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle including analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
