Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Platform Administrator Lead to design and manage enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments. This role will focus on organization/folder/project hierarchy design, tenant setup, and governance, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform administration, cloud architecture, and platform governance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement Google Cloud Platform organization, folder, and project hierarchy for enterprise use.
Lead the setup and management of multi-tenant environments in Google Cloud Platform.
Define and enforce governance, policies, IAM roles, and security best practices.
Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to align on standards and requirements.
Optimize Google Cloud Platform environments for cost, performance, and scalability.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and engineers.
Troubleshoot platform-level issues and drive root cause analysis.
Document standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
7 10 years of IT experience with 4+ years in cloud administration.
Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and administration.
Proven experience in organization/folder/project hierarchy design in Google Cloud Platform.
Solid understanding of IAM, service accounts, networking, billing, and security in Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency with Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, or similar).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation tools.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
