Position: Data Engineer III
Location: Sunnyvale, California
Duration: Contract

Job Overview:
The Data Engineer III will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles, tools, and technologies to support the organization's data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering frameworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize and improve existing data systems for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Document data engineering processes and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Range: $80 - $85

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
