Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Manchester, Connecticut. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to support IT operations in a dynamic aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues across a multi-site organization.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure PC hardware and software to meet end-user needs.
Perform onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring all IT components are properly managed.
Troubleshoot network and hardware issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance and implement upgrades on servers to maintain system performance.
Collaborate on IT-related projects, contributing technical expertise and hands-on support.
Update and maintain user and technical documentation to ensure accurate records.
Administer third-party software systems and provide support for related applications.
Actively support the shared IT services model across the organization to promote efficiency.
Execute hands-on tasks as assigned by the information systems team.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency with modern computer systems, including Windows 10.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and document solutions clearly.
Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Capacity to solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
