Job Title: Software Engineer Sr Analyst

Employer: PepsiCo, Inc.

Responsibilities

Duties: Serve as a Senior Analyst for Promo AI application used by the Global Net Revenue Management business owners worldwide. Design, build and implement features of Promo AI application across North America Business Units. Be the subject matter expert of the end-to-end cross functional architecture of the Promo AI solution. Setup Infrastructure capabilities for the application like Azure Kubernetes services, Key Vault and Blob storage. Improve and enhance CI/CD pipeline to increase efficiency and faster deployment times. Bundle and deploy applications as containerized solutions to elevate rising infrastructure costs. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and data scientists to ensure software solutions met business requirements and quality standards. Perform code reviews, set high quality coding standards and mentor team in all areas of software engineering best practices.

*Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Pepsico office in Plano, Texas.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in Software Engineering. Must have two (2) years of experience in: Cloud Services (Azure/ AWS/ELK, APP Dynamics): Work with services and platforms provided by Azure, Create Function Apps/ Logic Apps and Integrate with Java Applications to achieve required functionality. Create Azure pipelines for CICD process. Work with AKS clusters, nodes to develop and deploy application; Typescript/Javascript/NodeJS/React JS: Develop user friendly User Interfaces with good experience and call the REST APIs in an asynchronous manner, Integrate UI with Full story to monitor the user activity, Integrate with Identity and Access Management system to Authenticate and Authorize uses to the application; Docker & Kubernetes: Create docker images of the application from cloud, store the images in container and use the images to deploy to Azure Kubernetes clusters to keep application up and running. Ensure High availability, reliability and Integrity of the application using Kubernetes standards; Java/Spring: Use all aspects of spring framework like, MVC, spring boot, spring security to efficiently develop REST APIs which deliver faster response times for better user experience. Integrate with different internal applications like notifications, Loging systems (ELK), monitoring system (App Dynamics) to help debug and monitor the end-to-end system; SQL databases: Design the schema, normalize the tables, create indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers. Finetune for performance and CICD pipelines: Create and understand complex pipelines to Integrate different applications to perform various steps in Integration and Deployment process Automatically. This includes maven build, generate docker image, Deploy to Kubernetes clusters.

Salary: $149,781 - $160,000 / year
