Partner & Event Marketing Specialist
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Contract: 12-month W2 contract
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $58-$65/hour (depending on experience)

Russell Tobin is excited to partner with a leading global technology company in the search for a Partner & Event Marketing Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative B2B technology team focused on delivering connected devices and services that help businesses enhance operations, performance, and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in partner marketing and event execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Marketing

  • Support and execute strategic and tactical co-marketing programs with external partners to drive demand and customer acquisition.
  • Develop and manage go-to-market plans, promotional campaigns, co-branded content, and messaging with partners.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Oversee onboarding of partner CMS providers and ensure compliance with brand and marketing standards.
  • Maintain editorial calendars, GTM documents, and reporting dashboards.

Event Marketing

  • Plan and execute end-to-end event logistics, including venue booking, AV, shipping, swag, and vendor communications.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts, ensuring events are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate internal communications, attendee briefing materials, and event readiness for stakeholders.
  • Prepare post-event recaps, budget summaries, and feedback reports to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in a related field).
  • 6+ years of experience in partner marketing, brand partnerships, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven success executing partner marketing campaigns in a B2B or technology environment.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with data analytics for measuring and optimizing campaigns.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with B2B technology marketing.
  • Experience working with or supporting large tech organizations.
  • Comfort with creative tools (Canva, Figma, PowerPoint templates) and basic web tools (e.g., Webflow).
