RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java/Rest/Kubernetes/AWS/Jenkins in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and deploying software in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement
* Working closely with technology and business partners to design new features
* Building positive relationships within and across teams
* Develop high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
* Participate in all facets of the delivery process
REQUIREMENTS:
* A degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related subject area
* 8+ years of proven experience in building enterprise web and middle tier application using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and REST services
* Proven experience with developing and deploying applications to cloud using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management
* Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies
* Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core and Terraform
* Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub
* Expert level knowledge in developing cloud-hosted REST services in Java/Spring Boot that integrate seamlessly with multiple UI app tiers (legacy and modern)
* Self-starter and Self-sufficient developer able to work independently under minimum supervision and own the outcome of delivering high value solutions
* Strong communications and problem-solving skills
* Passion for learning the latest technologies and frameworks
* Able to clearly present sophisticated technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical team members as needed
* Experience with Angular is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
