SRE Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Architect with extensive experience in OpenShift and AWS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain the architecture for our cloud infrastructure using OpenShift and AWS.
• Automation: Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Monitoring and Performance: Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system performance and reliability. Analyze and resolve performance issues.
• Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
• Security: Ensure the security of our infrastructure by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with a focus on OpenShift and AWS.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and other related technologies.
• Scripting and Programming: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Go).
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift) are a plus.
