Position: Security Project Manager
Location: Marlborough, MA (Local candidates only)
Contract: Long-term contract with extension potential

This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for an experienced project leader who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and knows how to bring surveillance, access control, and alarm systems from concept to completion.
Hours & Pay
- Compensation: Up to $59 per hour
- Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility to support global meetings
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead global security system projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Define project scope, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage multiple concurrent projects involving surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
- Collaborate with internal teams, global stakeholders, manufacturers, vendors, and installation partners
- Support installation and commissioning activities including programming, testing, and go-live readiness
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and industry standards
- Participate in construction and renovation meetings to align security installations with project timelines
- Identify project risks, implement response strategies, and escalate issues as needed
- Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, issue logs, metrics, and communications
- Lead phase reviews, business reviews, and final project handoffs
- Communicate clearly and effectively across virtual platforms and global time zones
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience
- Hands-on experience with security systems such as surveillance, access control, and alarms
- Strong risk management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical project documentation
- Working knowledge of network connectivity and software configuration troubleshooting
- Comfort working flexible hours to support global initiatives
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels and virtual environments
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management certification
- Security industry background
- Experience in security system design or administration
- Platform or factory certifications (e.g., LenelS2, Milestone)
