JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Implementation Lead - Core HR to oversee the successful design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR solutions. This role requires a strong background in Oracle HCM Cloud, proven experience in end-to-end implementations, and the ability to work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.



*This role is a one year long contract with possible extentions*



JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Serve as the technical lead for the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Core HR, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support.

  2. Participate in solution design workshops with stakeholders and system integrators to capture business needs and translate them into functional configuration.

  3. Participate in fit-gap analysis and assist in recommending scalable, best-practice solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM.

  4. Configure Core HR modules including work structures, person management, employment, workforce structures, and security roles.

  5. Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies (unit testing, SIT, UAT), and manage defect resolution.

  6. Partner with Data & Integration teams to support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

  7. Work closely with Change Management and Communications teams to ensure smooth adoption and rollout across the company.

  8. Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and reporting solutions.

  9. Develop and maintain project documentation including functional design documents, process flows, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.

  10. Assist in the creation of training materials for end-users and administrators.

  11. Provide post-go-live support and facilitate knowledge transfer to Talent operations and IT teams.

  12. Mentor team members and function as the subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Core HR.

  13. Stay current on Oracle Cloud updates and best practices to continuously improve Core HCM

  14. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

  15. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: This role has enterprise-wide impact and requires strategic thinking, leadership, and deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM. The Lead will influence system architecture, process design, and user adoption across the organization. This role will serve as a strategic advisor and functional expert, ensuring that HCM systems align with organizational goals and deliver a seamless associate experience. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive transformation initiatives, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support continuous improvement across the enterprise.



JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):



  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM implementations, with at least 3 full-cycle projects as a Core HR Lead.

  • Ability to travel 15-20%.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM modules: Core HR and its impact on other Oracle modules including Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and HR Help Desk.

  • Proven ability to work successfully as part of cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong expertise in Oracle HCM configuration

  • Experience with HR business processes (hire-to-retire, organizational structures, position management, employment lifecycle).

  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certification in Core HR preferred.
