Talent Acquisition Specialist:3+ years of recruiting experience, which includes full cycle recruiting and/or sourcing experience. (A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience; A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year of experience).
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
Proven experience sourcing and recruiting for highly technical roles, including Cloud Architects, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers.
Strong sourcing experience of passive talent using Boolean searches and outreach for hard to fill niche technical talent.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and IT infrastructure
Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting-experience recruiting for technical roles
Dominion Energy is seeking an IT Technical Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for executing the company's recruiting strategy to meet current and upcoming hiring needs. This position will be part of a team that recruits for vacancies within the Dominion Energy IT group.
Responsibilities:
Partners closely with HR IT Business Engagement and IT business leadership to develop and execute a cost-effective recruiting strategy that is consistent with business goals.
Collaborates with management to understand their staffing needs, business issues and job requirements.
Utilizes numerous sourcing channels (internal and/or external) to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool.
Ensures that all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Utilizes electronic databases to source for candidates, evaluates and screens candidates, conducts phone interviews, works with Employee Resource Center to schedule face-to-face interviews and testing, if applicable; works with HR Business Engagement and hiring manager to develop appropriate offers and follows up with unsuccessful candidates.
Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
May be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions and job fairs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
