We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Site Discovery & Infrastructure Coordinator to manage and coordinate all on-site discovery activities across office locations. This role is responsible for gathering, validating, and documenting infrastructure details such as IT closet measurements, switches, firewalls, access points, cabling, and related hardware. The coordinator will serve as the hands and feet resource to ensure accurate data collection and smooth communication between local offices and the central IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the technician on conducting physical discovery of IT infrastructure across office sites, including:
IT closets, racks, and measurement documentation - Network equipment (switches, firewalls, routers, wireless access points, patch panels)
- Power, cabling, and environmental requirements (UPS, cooling, etc.)
- Create and maintain accurate site discovery documentation (photos, diagrams, and structured reports).
- Coordinate with central IT, vendors, and facilities teams to ensure all data points are collected on time.
- Track progress of multiple discovery efforts and escalate risks or blockers.
- Maintain inventory logs of IT hardware and connectivity in each location.
- Ensure alignment with corporate IT standards and integration requirements.
- Provide on-site support as needed for audits, migrations, or technology refresh projects.
- Collaborate with other teams such as network engineers, and security teams to validate collected information.
