Job Overview

The Senior Project Manager will ensure successful project completion within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. The role involves effective risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience with financial systems and familiarity with the insurance sector is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Project Execution: Lead the project team to meet goals, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and project teams.
  5. Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  6. Resource Management: Optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and materials for efficient project delivery.
  7. Quality Management: Ensure deliverables meet established quality standards and project guidelines.
  8. Change Management: Manage scope, schedule, or budget changes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  9. Project Closure: Oversee the completion and closure of all project deliverables effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 5 10 years of Project Management experience.
    • Experience managing finance system projects (mandatory).
    • Proven track record of completing at least 5 full project life cycles, preferably within MNCs.
  • Methodologies: Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Tools: Proficiency with project planning and management tools.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership to motivate teams and achieve project objectives.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication to convey information across all stakeholder levels.
    • Effective time management for meeting project deadlines.
    • Problem-solving skills to address challenges creatively and decisively.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach.
