Job Title: Application Architect

Work mode : Remote

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Application Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications. The role involves end-to-end software development, system analysis, and modernization initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of core business systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform system analysis, design, and development for enterprise business applications.
  • Develop and implement multi-tier applications using Java/J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans, MVC, etc.).
  • Design and maintain SOA-based architectures and integration services.
  • Utilize technologies such as XML, HTML, WSDL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSF, jQuery, and NodeJS.
  • Write and maintain advanced scripts using Bash and Python.
  • Manage and prioritize development pipelines, conduct daily scrums, and coordinate with project managers.
  • Use SVN, GitHub, and JIRA for version control and project tracking.
  • Lead modernization and optimization efforts across existing application ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure quality releases and technical compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in systems analysis and business application design.
  • Strong experience developing Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
  • Proven background in SOA architecture and integration.
  • Expertise in front-end and server-side technologies (XML, HTML, WSDL, JS, AJAX, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in scripting (Bash, Python).
  • 5+ years of experience with SVN, GitHub, JIRA, and agile development practices.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in technical leadership, modernization, and application performance tuning.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with legacy systems such as Natural, COBOL, and Linux.
  • Working knowledge of DB2 databases and JCL.
  • Exposure to tools like Maxenso or similar enterprise platforms.
