Title: IT Asset / Logistics Inventory Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid: 3 Days Onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ Months

Must Have:
Minimum of 7+ years in an inventory control role within Supply Chain or a financial institution, IT/Technology sector, or Technology Hardware Manufacturer/reseller.

Advanced experience with Excel (formulas, functions, and pivot tables).

Solid SharePoint experience.

Proficiency with ServiceNow and Splunk.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
About the Position
This role is for an experienced Technology Asset / Inventory Manager within the Enterprise Network Services team, reporting to the VP of the project management office. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the department's IT hardware asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Oversee and manage daily inbound logistics, inventory control, and functional analysis of infrastructure equipment purchased for the network services team.

Location Management: Manage inventory across multiple warehouse and data center locations (approx. 20) and 3rd party warehouse/integration facilities (approx. 4).

Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of real-time inventory data, working with vendor portals and various public/private databases.

Asset Lifecycle: Engage in strategic planning, governance, tracking, optimization, process improvement, and effective management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.

Logistics: Own hardware reservations and equipment deliveries. Liaise with vendors and MS counterparts on hardware delivery statuses.

Documentation & Systems: Ensure proper documentation, accurate status, identification/research, and correction of errors within systems/reports. Oversee successful execution and system updates for all inventory transactions (internal and 3rd party).

Analysis & Reporting: Develop business insights based on inventory analysis and communicate findings to management. Perform analysis of inventory (including calculations, trends, and measurements) and make recommendations for corrections. Develop metrics and reporting output with senior leadership.

Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory and stock levels (spares) and identify shortages to ensure adequate stock (e.g., Optics and power supplies).
Skills & Qualifications

Certifications: IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) is highly desirable.

Technical Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and PowerBI.

Methodologies: Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process skills. Must be a confident, articulate, and committed self-starter with excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required to communicate at all levels and lead projects during times of change.
