Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst 2 . This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Connecticut, Delaware Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia(Remote ). Pay Range: $27 - $29/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift: 8 AM 5 PM EST
  • Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function
  • Review programming requests for correspondence templates and work with business users and IT to identify, gather, analyze, and document business system requirements for correspondence templates
  • Perform and document Gap Analysis with previous version of templates
  • Work with business users to document current work flow processes and collaborate with users in identifying, defining, and documenting process improvement options and alternatives, as directed by business needs.
  • Develop and create new design concepts, graphics, layouts, objects and print rules according to documented requirements
  • Evaluate and schedule design implementations in a fast paced environment
  • Strictly follow the rules and procedures of design object hierarchy, naming convention and standardization
  • Designs, implements, and monitors archive and other essential log file configuration, operation, and location
  • Review programming requests for correspondence templates and work with business users and IT to identify, gather, analyze, and document business system requirements for correspondence templates
  • Perform and document Gap Analysis with previous version of templates
  • Work with business users to document current work flow processes and collaborate with users in identifying, defining, and documenting process improvement options and alternatives, as directed by business needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; 2+ years of business process analysis, preferably healthcare (i.e. documenting business process, gathering requirements) or claims payment/analysis experience.
  • CCM BA/UAT, IT Papyrus, IT CTS,
  • Business Areas (Medicare Operations, Medicaid Operations, etc)
  • Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Scrum Methodology. JIRA
  • Develop and document design concepts, Advance knowledge in a wide range of design graphic objects in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with an Object Oriented tools. Ability to create or modify complex SQL queries in a relational database.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Gather and analyze Business requirements
  • Experience in healthcare industry and/or working in a data driven environment.

  • Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Access preferred.
  • Knowledge of managed care information systems and experience in benefits, pricing, contracting or claims preferred.
  • Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies preferred. Previous structured testing experience preferred.
  • Understanding of HIPAA transactions (i.e. 837, 999, 824, 277) preferred
  • Knowledge of managed care information systems and experience in SQL scripting preferred.
  • Knowledge of data migration, software enhancement/planning, and Agile preferred.
  • Experience managing projects with a high reliance on technology. Knowledge of data integration, software enhancements/planning and Agile preferred.
