Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize potential threats
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and provide detailed reports on findings
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement effective incident response strategies
Develop and maintain incident response procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date with emerging threats
Perform root cause analysis of incidents and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences
Maintain awareness of the latest cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence to enhance response capabilities
Provide expert guidance on security best practices and incident prevention techniques

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in an appropriate domain.
Strong understanding of the external threat landscape and adversary tactics & techniques
Strong knowledge of incident management techniques throughout the incident lifecycle: assessment, containment, restoration, documentation, evidence preservation, and forensics
Strong knowledge of malware detection and analysis, and ability to reverse engineer malware code
Strong knowledge of information security best practices and technology risk management disciplines and technologies
Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and laws
Strong knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
Strong ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
Strong ability to deliver swift response and action-oriented skills
Strong analytical mindset, focused on results with critical thinking, research and problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong ability to implement and communicate actionable insights to streamline processes/transactions
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
Strong ability to manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives, and deliverables
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong technical proficiency in the use of MS Office including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
