Job Title: Sourcing Analyst
Location: Findlay Township, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Job Summary
The Sourcing Analyst I supports sourcing and procurement operations by analyzing spend, managing supplier relationships, and executing purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery, cost competitiveness, and policy compliance. This role focuses on supplier performance, purchase order execution, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across procurement processes. The position requires a working knowledge of sourcing methodologies, procurement systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Execute sourcing and procurement activities on assigned projects to support operational excellence and competitive performance within the North American market.
Conduct RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
Issue purchase orders and manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations related to government and defense-related procurement.
Track purchase order acknowledgements, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve delivery or scheduling issues; update ERP systems accordingly.
Ensure timely invoice receipt to support accurate processing and cash flow management.
Coordinate resolution of accounts payable, logistics, and customs-related issues tied to purchase orders.
Improve key procurement performance indicators including on-time delivery, cost savings, budget adherence, payment terms, and supplier delay impacts.
Analyze procurement data and spend trends to identify cost reduction and cash flow improvement opportunities.
Address supplier and contractual disputes, escalating to appropriate internal partners when necessary.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Quality, and other stakeholders.
Lead meetings, provide status updates, and communicate project progress effectively.
Partner with regional and global sourcing teams to interpret requirements and implement sourcing strategies that enhance business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or contract negotiation
OR 1 year of experience with a Master s degree or MBA in a related disciplineExperience in purchase order execution and vendor coordination
Strong negotiation skills with a proactive approach to supplier engagement
Fundamental understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience expediting procurement from purchase through delivery
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities across concurrent projects
Experience assessing supplier capability and supporting supplier development initiatives
Data analysis experience
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP
