Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud-based web applications to design and implement scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge software development projects and build robust systems that deliver exceptional value to customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop server-side code to integrate third-party devices into the enterprise ecosystem.
Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and resilient cloud-based services.
Oversee development processes, including continuous integration and deployment for multiple microservices.
Partner with QA teams to create automated test suites for application-level validation.
Apply industry best practices and standards to address complex business challenges.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver scalable solutions that align with ecosystem requirements.
Present and justify architectural designs and technical decisions to stakeholders, and develop prototypes to demonstrate solutions.
Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate innovative approaches into development processes.
Facilitate occasional travel to collaborate with teams at company headquarters.
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in software programming using mainstream programming languages.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js development.
Proven ability to design and develop cloud-based web services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Experience with large-scale production deployments, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Expertise in software architecture for high-volume applications.
Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs for web services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong foundation in software design, algorithms, and debugging techniques.
