Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer Cloud & Conversational AI Industry Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices and conversational AI workloads.

  • Automate deployments using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

  • Implement monitoring and logging with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost across GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, etc.

  • Strengthen security and compliance using IAM, service accounts, and network controls.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs, containers, and serverless components.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and support disaster recovery strategies.

Required Technical Skills

  • Google Cloud Platform: GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, VPC

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

  • CI/CD Tools: Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes

  • Scripting: Python or Bash

  • Monitoring: Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana
