Job Details

Payrate: $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

Position s Contributions to Work Group:
This position is for a Systems/Quality Validation engineer to support the Minestar Fleet product within the Robotics division. The position will work as part of an engineering team which designs, develops, and tests software features on embedded electronic controls and displays for use in Mining vehicle applications.

Typical task breakdown:
  • Daily standup meeting with global team
  • Execute test plans for new software releases
  • Develop new test plans for new features and bug resolutions
  • Identify, debug, and document found issues
  • Communicating with System engineers and development teams

Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience in software validation
  • Can consider master s but candidate still should have 3 years exp

Skills:
  • Software in the loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) with strong documentation and communication
  • Python, scripting, test automation
  • Communication and collaboration

Technical Skills:
  • Test Case documentation
  • Electronic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Azure Devops
  • Docker and Linux environments

Soft Skills:
  • Effective Communication
  • Teamwork

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $55.00 - $60.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
