Role Overview
The Program Director will lead a complex, multi-track, multi-year technology transformation program involving 100–200 associates. This role demands proven expertise in delivering large software product development and implementation programs, strong executive-level stakeholder management, and end-to-end ownership of program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Own the integrated program end-to-end, delivering to committed scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Drive the overall program strategy and business case, especially in challenging client situations.
- Track, monitor, and ensure delivery of expected business value and benefits.
- Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and profitability.
- Ensure effective scope control and best-practice Change Management processes.
- Create executive dashboards, enable business reviews, and provide clear communication across stakeholders.
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Manage CIO-1 level client executives and Client Program Leaders.
- Collaborate with C-level executives to align program execution with organizational strategy.
- Build coalitions at executive and CxO levels, influence decision-making, and drive change adoption.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team of technology, product, implementation leaders, program managers, and project managers.
- Create an enabling environment that drives accountability, focus on priorities, and a winning mindset.
- Plan team succession and ensure strong leadership pipeline.
Delivery Model & Governance
- Operate comfortably within a global delivery model.
- Manage cross-functional teams across technology, product, and implementation domains.
- Ensure effective governance, risk management, and oversight across all program tracks.
Required Experience & Skills
- 20+ years of experience in large-scale program and transformation delivery.
- Proven track record delivering multi-year, multi-track software development and implementation programs.
- Strong executive-level stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing 100–200 associates across global teams.
- Ownership mindset with ability to make tough prioritization and trade-off decisions.
- Aviation IT experience (preferred).
- Flight Operations or Crew Operations Technology experience (desirable).
- Strong financial management, delivery governance, and organizational alignment capabilities.
