Senior Data Analyst / Data Reporting Analyst Location : Austin Texas Client : State of Texas Exp: Minimum 12+ Years Must Any State or Federal Public Sector experience is Must - Minimum 3+ Years ( Only Recent Experience ) Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position (Within a 50-mile radius). Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX.
No out-of-state candidates or those planning to relocate will be considered.
Minimum 12+ years of experience required.
Must have at least 3+ years of recent experience in State or Federal Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire data from multiple sources, create regular reports, and ensure databases remain error-free and well-organized.
Perform deep analysis of data trends and correlations to support decision-making.
Develop and maintain data models to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Create data reports, dashboards, and visualizations using specialized reporting tools.
Prepare and present reports identifying gaps in technology and operational effectiveness to executive stakeholders.
Analyze data policies and procedures for their impact on automated systems and functionalities.
Develop strategic and project SDLC documentation including gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, and test cases.
Lead and participate in multiple projects to maximize success and improve program functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
12+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 3+ years recent experience in State or Federal Public Sector data analysis.
Proven ability to research, analyze, and solve complex data-related problems and prepare concise reports.
Skilled in data mapping, modeling, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Experience creating metadata, data tables, and user interfaces to define clear business reports.
Proficiency in designing and developing data reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Strong understanding of data policies, procedures, and their effects on systems.
Experience developing SDLC materials and working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently with limited direction, exercising initiative and judgment.
