Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic and innovative team, contributing to projects that require a deep understanding of data engineering concepts and practices.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage data systems, ensuring that they meet business requirements and industry practices.
Collaborate with data scientists on big data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery architecture.
Utilize Apache Spark, HDFS, and other big data technologies for fast and efficient data processing.
Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
Utilize scripting languages like SQL and Linux/shell scripting to handle data swiftly.
Develop and implement data pipelines, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
Utilize business intelligence tools and data frameworks to ensure that data usage is compliant with the strategic requirements.
Work with AWS technologies to handle and analyze data.
Leverage analytics and data handling techniques to develop insights from data.
Work with other stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Requirements
Proficient in Apache Spark
Extensive knowledge in Database management
Experience with EO/IR systems
Hands-on experience with Erwin Data
Understanding of HDFS
Ability to perform AB Testing
Strong background in Analytics
Familiarity with AWS Technologies
Experience in Business Intelligence (BI)
Ability to prepare Business Requirement Document
