Location- Hybrid in Houston
Locals to TX preferred
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with over 12 years of progressive IT experience and deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and security. This role is pivotal in defining, implementing, and governing enterprise-level architecture strategies that enable secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of technical leadership, business acumen, and hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, security frameworks, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in IT, with at least 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect and 6+ years working with cloud and security architecture.
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications (preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman Framework Certification
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong grasp of enterprise security principles and frameworks
- Proficiency in architectural modeling, roadmapping, and EA tools
- Knowledge of containerization, microservices, and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Agile/SAFe, DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline integration experience
