Role: Sr. UX/UI Developer
Location: Boston, MA or NYC, NY- Onsite
Duration: Long term contract
Contract description
- Lead the design and development of UI/UX solutions for the modernization of the Operations Workstation and related brokerage tools.
- Expertly translate complex brokerage workflows (e.g., corporate actions, corrections) into intuitive UI designs that enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and operations users, to gather requirements and conduct in-depth usability testing.
- Architect and build reusable UI components using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, ensuring adherence to Fidelity's design system.
- Mentor junior developers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in UI/UX design practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end engineering, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Advanced proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, with a deep understanding of design systems.
- Proven experience in leading usability testing and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility for enterprise-grade applications.
