Software Engineer Contingent

Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 18 months
Pay: $90.00 hour/W2

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent resource assignment. In this role, you will be involved in complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning efforts, working across multiple technology and business domains. You will review and analyze large-scale, multi-faceted software engineering challenges, many of which require in-depth evaluation of unique, intangible, or unprecedented factors. This position requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide innovative solutions while adhering to established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad business impact.
• Review, analyze, and address multi-faceted technical challenges and opportunities.
• Contribute to the resolution of large-scale, long-term, or unprecedented engineering issues.
• Collaborate and consult with internal stakeholders to develop solutions aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Participate in strategic planning and delivery of engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or more of the following:
• Professional work experience
• Consulting engagements
• Formal training and certifications
• Military or related technical experience
• Education in computer science or related fields
