  • Deep hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Bicep
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and tool development
  • Expertise in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers), security, and IAM
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Salt, or Fabric
  • Proven experience designing resilient, highly available (HA/DR) infrastructure solutions across cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud migration methodologies and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies
  • Experience in M&A integration projects and enterprise onboarding is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills

Good to Have Skillsets:

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS)
  • Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare, or government)
  • Understanding of cloud financial management and cost optimization practices
  • Knowledge of enterprise frameworks like the AWS Well-Architected Framework or Azure CAF

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Architecture & Migration: Design and implement secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure architectures to support cloud platform migrations and post-M&A integration initiatives.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Lead the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep for repeatable and auditable cloud deployments.
  • Scripting & Tooling: Automate cloud operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Lead Technical Assessments: Identify gaps, define target states, and develop roadmaps for cloud transformation.
  • Modernize Infrastructure: Champion cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • CI/CD Enablement: Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments and configuration updates.
  • Cloud Governance & Security: Implement security best practices, compliance frameworks, and cloud governance models including identity/access controls, encryption, and network policies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to align solutions with business goals and operational excellence.
  • Documentation & Standards: Define architecture blueprints, reusable patterns, and operational runbooks for onboarding and knowledge sharing.
