Job Details
Job Title: Data Engineer (Need local candidates)
Location: San Ramon, CA and Sunnyvale, CA
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Dataflow, or other Google Cloud Platform data tools.
- Proficiency in Scala for building data pipelines and transformations.
- Solid understanding of SQL and working with large datasets.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms, BI tools, or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in cloud-based environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines or data science workflows is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
