Our client is seeking an experienced Data Strategy Consultant to lead the development of a customer-first, data-driven strategy. This role will shape the vision, principles, and execution plan that align data initiatives with utility industry knowledge commitment to improving customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Frame a customer-first vision using data, including case studies from utilities and other industries
Develop core data principles to support the customer strategy
Define an actionable, enterprise-level data strategy
Identify and structure key focus areas and sub-domains under the strategy
Map and prioritize initiatives based on business value vs effort
Outline initiative-level activities, gaps, and dependencies (including customer journey map review)
Build a detailed execution plan with timeline, resources, and RACI ownership
Qualifications:
Proven experience developing enterprise data strategies with customer-centric focus
Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and customer data platforms
Ability to translate business goals into technical and operational initiatives
Experience in utilities or regulated industries strongly preferred
Excellent stakeholder communication and project planning skills
