Duration: 3 month with possible extension for total of 6 months

Role Description:
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to aid in our project to achieve system compliance for the next 3-6 months. This individual will actively engage with business groups in the Americas, providing communication, assisting with technical support requests, and contributing to project documentation. Furthermore, for this contractor position, we are seeking someone to help manage our asset management solution. In this role, you will connect business groups with organizational assets to ensure systems fulfill requirements. Additionally, you will assist in configuring the Axonius platform through technical execution, guaranteeing its effective integration, configuration, and use across IT and Security teams.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business groups and the technical teams to ensure systems are in line with compliance
  • Effectively communicate with various layes within the organization to ensure business groups bring devices into compliance
  • Act as a strategic liaison between engineering teams, compliance stakeholders, and business units to ensure technical systems meet internal compliance requirements.
  • Track the compliance state of business systems and create actionable tasks for engineering teams, ensuring mutual understanding across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication touchpoints to gather feedback, align expectations, and manage progress on compliance-related initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and own documentation, including business requirements, user stories, workflows, data flow diagrams, and system compliance mappings.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Axonius integrations with data sources including CMDB, endpoint management, vulnerability scanners, cloud platforms, and directory services.
  • Analyze data quality and completeness within Axonius; identify and troubleshoot gaps or discrepancies in asset data.
  • Help prioritize and manage the backlog of compliance and system enhancement tasks, ensuring alignment with business risk, impact, and timelines.
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline compliance reporting and validation.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to quickly understand complex business and technical requirements, with a sharp analytical mindset and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Benefit would be to have experience working in compliance-focused environments (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001), ideally in coordination with engineering and technical teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of information, synthesize insights, and distill key priorities.
  • Effective prioritization skills able to balance competing demands, align with strategic goals, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives, fostering alignment and transparency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, compliance processes, and system mappings in a clear, structured, and audit-ready format.
  • Adept at working independently and collaboratively, with strong ownership of tasks and a commitment to follow-through.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Excel, ServiceNow, to document and keep track of work would be a benefit.
