Job Overview:
External Payment Services has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager (TPM). This role focuses on developing and managing projects related to new consumer-facing payments products. You ll work in a high-impact environment where security, performance, availability, and reliability are top priorities.
As a TPM, you ll serve as a critical bridge between External Payment Services and various internal teams that depend on its infrastructure. You will define requirements, plan delivery, and lead the design and implementation of features and websites. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, innovative business within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the end-to-end execution of projects that enable new consumer-facing payment solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define project requirements and goals
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies with multiple stakeholders
  • Provide escalation management and resolve issues that impact delivery timelines
  • Identify trade-offs and balance technical constraints with business needs
  • Contribute to the design of web-based features and customer-facing interfaces
  • Act as a liaison between External Payment Services and internal client teams
  • Maintain high standards of software quality related to security, performance, availability, and reliability

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of industry experience as a software developer or technical lead
  • Strong technical proficiency with Linux, Java, and HTML
  • Proven success in the end-to-end delivery of software products from conception to deployment
  • Ability to operate on both the technical and business sides of product development
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively across multiple internal teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong program management and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the payments or mobile payments domain
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Product design experience focused on websites and consumer features

Work Environment:
  • This is a full-time onsite role in Seattle, WA (98109)
