Their global community of interpreters, located in over 140 countries, is available to help clients 24/7 in over 300 languages. Clients access services from any smartphone, tablet or computer, as well as through third-party integrations with platforms such as Zoom.

About the Position:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will assist on larger projects or run smaller opportunities independently. You will design and build the next generation of the application as well as design incremental upgrades to existing products. A successful candidate has technical depth and hands-on experience of various practices and tools within DevOps and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design and code modules for infrastructure, application, and processes.

You Will:
- Build and maintain a scalable and secured infrastructure to meet customers needs
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform services and internal systems integration for the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security through best practices and automation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure security compliance by implementing IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption strategies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and incident response tools.
- Collaborate with development, product and operations teams to enhance cloud reliability and scalability.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.
- Lead initiatives to scale system architecture, ensure high availability, and implement comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for the infrastructure.
- Provide infrastructure needed to maintain multiple integration environments, ensuring each environment is consistently set up, configured, and available
- Trace complex build problems, release issues, and environmental issues
- Work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
What You Bring:
- 5+ years as individual contributor
- Knowledge of one cloud platform like Google Cloud Platform (preferred although they would consider AWS knowledge)
- Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools such as Terraform (preferred)
- Good experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Jenkins or similar tools)
- Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Practical SQL skills and admin experience with Databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Ability to collaborate across multiple and cross functional teams
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
This is a full-time employee position working directly for our client. The annual base salary is targeted at $100,000-$110,000/yr. They are solid benefits, and the opportunity for a bonus for high performing employees. The team is 100% virtual, although many of the team are based in the greater DC area. They are fine with 100% remote in the continental US.
