Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the North Carolina. There is an expectation for the candidate to go into the Raleigh, North Carolina office.

This Business Systems Analyst role is within the Corporate Technologies department and is responsible for providing primary advanced technical and operational business technology support for Corporate Procurement and Sourcing business functions. In this role, you will work closely with our Business Owners, perform needs assessments to determine business requirements, develop and implement functional specifications for assigned portfolio systems. This position ensures that developed solutions support Bank strategic and tactical objectives through analysis activities.

This position:
  • Leads analytic efforts, delivers strategic insight, and acts as a technical expert for business systems within the Bank.
  • Performs at the highest level of service complexity in support of system operations, performance, and usage.
  • Develops advanced solutions and specifications to resolve process issues, which may involve elements of testing and development.
  • Serves as a resource to business units or associates and may provide a leadership role for less experienced analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis at the most advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis of output. May handle special projects or direct the analytics efforts of the work group.
  • Identifying Requirements - Determines business system requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Determines and resolves complex factors that affect system processes. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.
  • Reporting - Enables strategic insight into business systems through reports to senior management. Evaluates systems based on data analysis, user input, and extensive testing. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, and develops process enhancements based on results.
  • System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Handles escalated and complex support issues. Develops and implements modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering expertise on systems and data output.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

Preferred qualifications:
  • COUPA & Icertis Application Support
  • Traditional BSA discipline and methods
  • Jira and ability to operate within an Agile framework
  • Technology SDLC and Corporate Change Management controls
  • ServiceNow and ability to triage and complete root cause analysis on incidents
  • SaaS solution model, Middleware/API framework and Security solutions
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Sourcing corporate domains and associated industry standard technologies (i.e. Coupa, Icertis).
  • Familiarity with core business functions: Employee Expense Management, Contracts and Purchase Orders/Purchase Requisitions, Supplier/Vendor Management and general accounting, Invoicing and Accounts Payable.
