You will be a key member ofthe Halo S tudio s IT Engineering team, re s pon s ible for s tudio data andIT s ervice s and infra s tructure within our s tudio. You will be contributing to the architecture andde s ign of new on-prem and cloud infra s tructure, while continuing to drive optimization, performance, s ecurity, an d reliability with c utting edge technologie s and automation. You will empower arti s t s ,developer s , and other s in our s tudio by proactivelyde s ig nin g technical s olution s to maximize their efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and optimizecriticalhybrid and cloud-ba s edIT infra s tructure utilizing Infra s tructure a s Code( IaC ) technologie s (e.g.,Docker, Terraform,AK S ) to en s urehighavailability, s calability, s ecurity, and operational efficiency.

• De s ign, s cale, and maintain Perforce, S warm, and build farm infra s tructure u s ed by game development team s and automated build environment s , to en s ure robu s t, high-performance workflow s acro s s di s tributed game development environment s .

• De s ignand implementAzure Networking s olution s including S ite-to- S ite tunnel s ,App Gateway, Private Endpoint s /Private Link, DN S ,and network s ecurity for Azure re s ource s , en s uring s ecure and reliable connectivity.

• Architect anddeliver automation s olution s to improve s ervice health, manageability, reliability, telemetry,and alerting .

• Implementdata governance, s torage,backup, and di s a s ter recovery s olution s for a multi -PetabyteAzure-ba s edenvironment, en s uringdata integrity, s ecurity, and performance.

• Re s ea rch, evaluate, and integrate emerging tool s and methodologie s into the technology roadmap,tocontinuou s ly optimize efficiency, reliability, and s calability.

• Produce and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation andde s ign s pecification s that align with be s t practice s .

• Collaborate with s oftware engineer s , project management, and operation s team s to improve and optimize infra s tructure and evolve s ervice s , en s uring alignment with organizational goal s .

• Participate in on-call rotation s , lead incident re s pon s e, and conduct po s tmortem s to identify root cau s e s and implement preventative infra s tructure improvement s .

Required qualification s :

• 6+ year s technical ex perience in s oftware engineering, network engineering, or s y s tem s admini s tration

• OR Bachelor' s Degree in Comp uter S cience , Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ year s technical ex perience in s oftware engineering, network engineering, or s y s tem s admini s tration

• OR Ma s ter' s Degree in Comp uter S cience , Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ year s technical ex perience in s oftware engineering, network engineering, or s y s tem s admini s tration.

• 5+ year s of ex perience managing technical infra s tructure, including 3+ year s of hand s -on Linux s y s tem admini s tration involving trouble s hooting, performance tu nin g, s ecurity confi gu ration, and automation of core O S s ervice s .

• 3+ year s of ex perience building and maintai nin g infra s tructure automation u s ing s cripting lan gu age s (e.g., Power S he ll, Python, Ba s h) and infra s tructure-a s -code tool s (e.g., Docker, Kubernete s , Terraform, Azure Bicep), with a focu s on deploying and managing containerized application s and s ervice s .

• 5+ year s of ex perience ow nin g and operating production-grade infra s tructure s y s tem s at s cale, including re s pon s ibility for reliability, performance tu nin g, monitoring/ob s ervability, and incident re s pon s e acro s s hybrid or cloud-native environment s ?

Preferred qualification s :

• Ex perience with trouble s hooting andde s ig nin g s olution s with core infra s tructure technologie s includingon-prem and/or Azurenetworking, cloud technologie s , Active Directory / Entra ID

• Ex perience maintai nin g high-availability ver s ion control s y s tem s (e.g., Perforce) and CI/CD build infra s tructure

• Ex perience with infra s tructure ob s ervability, incident re s pon s e, and capacity plan nin g for cloud and hybrid s y s tem s

• Ex perience withEntra ID authentication (oauth2, OIDC, S AML) for Azure Re s ource s and App Regi s tration s

Site Reliability Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
