This program will support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in development of a modernized Engineering Network (eNET) prototype to support research, development, and engineering activities. The prototype will apply commercial cloud services and emerging technologies to demonstrate interoperability of systems among mixed classification levels, multi-layer security architecture and digital workspaces for end users in a virtual desktop environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develops and implements programs/processes to establish and maintain quality standards of applications within a cloud environment
- Performs quality testing of software solutions developed in Java, Python and SQL within an AWS environment
- Tests applications within a Linux and Kubernetes environment
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with development team members
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT, science, or engineering discipline and 5 or more years experience in quality assurance practices. An associates degree and 2 additional years of relevant experience or 4 additional years of experience with no degree may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
- Active Interim Secret or Secret clearance required
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance of software developed in Java, Python, SQL or other programming languages in a cloud environment is required.
- Must have experience in quality assurance of Linux and Kubernetes container systems and be familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of AWS is preferred.
